That is truly insane. Definitely time to rethink education when you're using security cameras to catch cheating...

Just attended the 13th annual School Climate conference (schoolclimate.org) and found their work at creating positive school environments critical. This article shows how little trust we have in schools. CSEE says we have to start with trust no matter what type of change we are trying to implement. Very interesting.

It's just incredible to see the resources they're putting into this. I mean really, if the problem is students are cheating, just make it impossible to cheat. Talk to them, make them produce something that is authentic. I can't "cheat" at work because I have real tasks to accomplish. Shouldn't it be easy enough to make school assessments similar? I'm still beguiled by this story.
