I love the Pittsburgh Penguins. I have since I was a little kid watching Mario Lemieux stun the world with his grace on the ice. That being said, they Tweeted today about great tickets for the next playoff series and I went just to take a look. I was delighted when I saw a ticket level at $40 (see picture), but then realized that was for parking! The cheapest entry ticket (standing room only) is $90. Wow. Who is this even for? Pittsburgh, and likely the NHL in general, need to look seriously at what's going on. I'm not even in Pittsburgh, and couldn't go to the game, but I was sad to see that tickets go up to $600.
