Google is kind enough to provide us with a dashboard of all the Google Apps products' statuses so we can check to see if anything is wrong when we're experiencing problems. Right now, Google Calendar is clearly down (see screenshot) yet the apps dashboard says that all is well!
Come on, Google. At least be honest!
