So happy to see that my local library will be building an "information commons." Perhaps they'll form a committee of local folks to help advise. Hello, Brooklyn Public Library, if you're listening, this educational technologist is here to help!

Microsoft has a program call AutoCollage that will take a folder of images and make a collage for you. I can't say I find the results all that breathtakingly beautiful, but the tool seems highly functional. 30 day trial, $19.95 to buy.
The Food Network doesn't have a great vegetarian focus, but luckily their side-dish section has tons of vegetarian sides like the bell pepper slaw pictured above.
I'm not a big fan of viral videos or cats. But holy cute!

@GOOD Asks: What Is Your Favorite Simple Vegetarian Recipe?
A nice list of tweets with easy veggie recipes. I love love love Tyler Florence's tomato sauce (ignore the chicken info) and Heidi Swanson's caramelized tofu and brussel sprouts.
I'm a huge fan of NAU, an environmentally responsible, future-design oriented clothier. I enjoyed reading how their designers came up with the new travel bag concept. Thoughtful and meaningful design is important to me. And so is NAU's choice of natural fibers (no dead animals here). If you want to buy the new bag, it's on their shopping site.
For travel, I personally use the Patagonia MLC, and I love it.
A great looking recipe from the NY Times Diner's Journal blog for an Indian green beans in coconut milk recipe. The recipe looks super easy, and tasty.
